We invite you to a lecture by art historian Luděk Lukuvka, which will focus on expressionism in architecture using one of the most interesting buildings in Liberec – the Stross House as an example. Luděk Lukuvka (*1975, Děčín) studied art history at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in Brno. In the past, he worked as a gallery manager at the Gallery at Rytíř in Liberec and at the NIKA Photography Gallery in the Regional Gallery of Liberec. Since 2016, he has been working at the North Bohemian Museum in Liberec as the curator of artistic photography and the architecture collection. He founded the Documentation Centre for Architecture and is also the manager and curator of the experimental prefabricated Karel Hubáček House. He has long been devoted to the significant cultural monument – the Stross House, which today houses the Regional Hygiene Station.
