Designer floor sockets: the end of extension cords

Floor sockets, which belong to modern living, solve the problem of unsightly cables and extension cords. Floor sockets can supply not only electricity but also audio/video or PC/data cables, or even USB or HDMI cables, etc. In the room, you may not even notice them.

Any flooring material up to 15mm thick can be inserted into the lid of the floor socket.

Inside apartments, houses, and offices, floor sockets are mainly used to bring electrical energy to places where it would otherwise require an extension cord. Floor boxes for sockets can come in various designs and executions, capable of meeting both aesthetic and functional needs of every customer. The equipment, i.e., the number and type of sockets, depends purely on the client's wishes. In addition to electricity, it is possible to include TV-SAT, PC, HDMI, AUDIO, or other types of sockets. Customers typically place floor sockets, for example, under the table, near the sofa, or next to free-standing lamps or speakers.

Here too, we may encounter requests for data sockets, speaker or TV sockets. You can place a socket, for example, on a terrace, where it serves to connect a portable computer, free-standing light, or grill.

Exterior floor socket can be hidden under grass, ready for a lawn mower or other garden tools, or for decorative lighting. It is not a problem to place sockets in driveways or garages (meaning they can withstand being driven over by cars). Compared to indoor sockets, outdoor floor sockets have a different construction with IP67 (waterproof) protection that prevents dirt and water from entering the box.
