Shower toilet: number one in the world of intimate hygiene

Intimate hygiene is becoming an increasingly discussed topic, and there are various solutions available in the sanitary ceramics sector. The company TECE introduced the TECEone shower toilet in the Czech Republic and Slovakia last year, which is the only one on the market that does not require electricity – neither for operating the toilet nor for heating water.


The operation of the TECEone only requires a supply of hot and cold water. This means that the installation requires the same technical conditions as a bidet or hand shower. The TECEone toilet is made of ceramic with a modern "rimless" flushing system, ensuring very easy cleaning and thus a perfectly clean surface after flushing (unlike conventional toilets, TECEone does not have a rim where dirt could accumulate). Furthermore, the toilet is equipped with an ergonomically shaped duraplast seat that features a slow-close function. Due to these advantages and timeless design, the TECEone toilet has reached the top in the sanitary ceramics segment.

Intuitive Control

The toilet is suitable for everyone due to its completely intuitive control – both adults and children. On its left side is the temperature controller with a thermostat, which can be adjusted to a comfortable level by turning it. The system also includes a safety feature to prevent scalding with hot water. On the right side is the shower activator, which, when turned smoothly, first cleans the shower nozzle from any dirt, and with a subsequent turn, the entire shower arm extends due to the water pressure – afterward, the intensity of the rinse can be individually adjusted.

The advantage of the TECEone toilet is that the user is not limited by the heating of water, and the maximum rinse intensity can be used for an almost unlimited time. By turning back to the original position, the water supply is closed, and the nozzle retracts back into the body of the toilet ceramic, thus being protected from dirt.
