Schüco, a world leader in the field of building envelopes and solar systems, is continuing last year's autumn roadshow focused on aluminum profiles and the Premium Partner project. With Schüco Demotruck, it kicks off again this year, but this time it will be a specially modified mobile showroom focusing on the range and advice of Schüco's SOLAR division. From March 26 to April 6, 2012, you can come to one of the six stops of the Demotruck and view not only solar innovations. Expert consultations in the field of thermal systems, heat pumps, and photovoltaics will also be available. The doors of the Demotruck will be open to all interested parties from both the professional and lay public. The project was created in collaboration with Schüco's partner companies.
Photovoltaic power plant for the energy independence of family homes and other news
In the spacious showroom, you will be able to see for example a photovoltaic power plant, an intelligent solution for accumulating and utilizing your own solar power. Thanks to it, a standard family house with a Schüco photovoltaic system with a capacity of 5 kWh will be able to cover up to 65% of its annual electricity consumption. The power plant can store the generated electricity in rechargeable batteries, supply it to appliances in the house through an integrated inverter, or feed it into the grid. By using the energy plant, expenses for drawn electricity are saved and the generated solar power is maximally utilized for personal consumption in an automated manner.

In addition to the energy plant, let us highlight the Schüco MPE thin-film modules from the Blackline Laminate series, based on micromorph silicon technology. The microcrystalline thin-film technology of the panels ensures optimized yield performance at elevated operating temperatures, effectiveness in diffuse light, and orientation other than south. The showroom will also offer traditional monocrystalline and polycrystalline photovoltaic modules and thermal collectors; for example, the Schüco CTE 319 CH collector from the Kompakt series achieves an efficiency of 84.5%. If you need advice in this area, do not hesitate to visit one of the six stops of the Schüco Demotruck.
