Premium wooden floors and bio boards in the Benedictine monastery

The Benedictine monastery in the mountain town of Admont has been engaged in wood processing and carpentry for many centuries. In the same location and virtually without interruption, wooden large-format layered floors and layered large-format bioboards are now produced under the auspices of the monastery, primarily from traditional timbers such as larch and oak.
Currently, the offering is supplemented by a series of Galleria cladding from old wood, acoustic cladding panels, wooden stairs, and solid doors.

Ecologically and sustainably, this has long applied to Admonter products. The production uses natural-based binders and oils without solvents and formaldehydes, hence all products are certified for health safety and are 100% natural products (certification IBR).

The wood is sourced exclusively from local forests, where responsible forestry practices are in place, and the Admont Abbey is the largest steward of forests and landscapes in the region.

Each Admonter product is unified by the use of the same top layer of cut veneer, the so-called Schwartny with a thickness of 3.6mm, with the same surface finish and selected grading. This allows for a uniform appearance and the same aging and maintenance for individual elements (floors, furniture, kitchens, stairs, doors). It is therefore common to encounter these products in hotel resorts and restaurants in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.
