Lindab, s.r.o.

Lindab is among the leading suppliers of steel building components. Thanks to the rapid development of the entire group, it offers a wide range of products that complement each other, creating compact units for modern industrial construction. It now introduces a product that not only complements its own steel structures but is also a very suitable alternative to reinforced concrete constructions.

LTP 150

It is a load-bearing structural trapezoidal sheet made from strength hot-dip galvanized steel with a wave height of 153 mm. This profile is currently one of the most commonly used in the construction of flat roofs. Trapezoidal sheets with thicknesses of 0.75 – 1.5 mm allow application on frame spans of 3 – 8 m. The underside is protected by a 15 μm polyester coating, and in standard industrial buildings, it is no longer necessary to install an additional ceiling for aesthetic reasons. A covering width of 840 mm, lengths of up to 13,000 mm, and simple anchoring are factors that impact the speed of installation. This significantly contributes to the overall cost of the project.

It finds its use as a structural profile for membrane and trapezoidal roofs with low slopes from 3%. Furthermore, as a load-bearing element for interior ceilings. In the latter application, the sheet is anchored to a steel, reinforced concrete, or wooden structure and subsequently filled with lightweight concrete. In Scandinavian countries, it also serves well as a final covering with low support density requirements.

The new production line is among the most modern due to its speed and accuracy. As a result, it can effortlessly produce large orders in the magnitude of tens of thousands of square meters in a short time frame.

The following additional variants of LTP 150 attest to the wide production range of Lindab:
  • Coating of 25 μm polyester paint – suitable for increased demands for sheet protection, equivalent to the thickness of paint used in commonly used sheet metal coverings.
  • Perforated walls of the profile – suitable for very noisy operations. A network of holes with a diameter of 5 mm improves the acoustic behavior of the sheet (reduces sound reflections).
  • Anti-condensation layer – suitable as a replacement for diffusion foil. The layer of fabric applied during production can absorb up to 0.3 liters of water per m2!
From an economic perspective, choosing the correct sheet thickness is crucial. Complete static tables and calculation software are available not only to designers. A team of experienced professionals is available to help you find the right solution for your construction and assist with its implementation.
