The British brand Designers Guild is synonymous with top-notch interior design and decorations. We present the new autumn-winter 2006 collection.
The creators of the new collection of fabrics and washable wallpapers from Designers Guild have drawn inspiration from the grand palaces of St. Petersburg, gardens, and the interiors of the Russian bourgeoisie from the late 19th century for this autumn and winter. The striking collection of fabrics and textile wallpapers is based on floral Art Nouveau motifs and the characteristic decorative style of Russian classics. The motifs Marinsky, Rastrelli, and Zakharov, as well as Sarafan, Anichov, and Tatiana, have a very intense presence in the interior, with a striking graphic expression and are available in a wide range of colors and combinations. Stylish wallpapers printed on the highest quality paper are produced in a variety of colors and patterns. With striped patterns Moya and Naroda, every interior stands out: be it in traditional tones or in a modern contemporary spirit. The Zakharov wallpaper motif is literally a diamond among floral motifs, while the Anichov and Sarafan series emphasize exotic textures. Fioravanti and Coromandel are more traditional, the Marinsky decors have a velvety surface, and they are dramatic and unmistakable in the interior. "The Monplaisir collection is seductive and opulent. It has a fantastic color palette and six designs. For example, combine the elegant motifs Fioravanti and Kusmi with the stripes Moyka and the multicolored decors Rinaldi and Monplaisir," says Tricia Guild, the founder of the now-iconic brand Designers Guild.
