On November 7, 2025, showrooms and workshops across the Czech Republic will open their doors to showcase that the stove-making craft has a solid place in modern architecture. The Czech Chamber of Stovemakers, together with Austrian and German partners, is organizing the Day of Stoves – an event that connects tradition, aesthetics, and sustainability.



A Experience for All Senses

Architects and designers can visit the participating companies and showrooms across the country throughout the day. Visitors can arrive at any time during the companies' opening hours and:
  • view dozens of functional fireplaces and stoves in operation,
  • consult technical and aesthetic details directly with experts,
  • gain inspiration for their projects and implementations,
  • experience the atmosphere of a craft that has a solid place even in the modern world.

Wood as the Energy of the Future

The main focus will be wood – a renewable energy source that offers self-sufficiency and environmental friendliness. Experts will explain the principles of proper wood heating, which is ecological, economical, and also beautiful. Stoves and fireplaces today are not just functional elements, but also a significant architectural motif of the interior.

"Proper wood heating has a future. And there is always a place for inspiration by the glowing stove," say the organizers.


An Example from Practice: Day of Stoves at Banador

One of the places opening its doors is the showroom Banador in Jinačovice near Brno, where you can expect:
  • 200 m² of inspiration for modern and traditional interiors
  • 20 functional models of fireplaces and stoves
  • Experts from the stove-making field on site
