Symposium of Experimental Architecture

The Biennial of Experimental Architecture in Prague is an international platform for mapping current trends and methods of architectural design that responds to the changing world of new philosophies and technologies. Its goal is to revive interest in architectural thinking that transcends the closed borders of local evaluative criteria. The fourth edition, subtitled Digital Tactics, presents world architecture at a time when the initial enthusiasm for digital technologies has waned, as they have become a natural and unconscious part of human life. Computer programmers have transformed into designers, architects, or fashion designers. Robotic technologies have crossed the walls of industrial operations to inhabit the tables of creatives and young scientists. Digital design has become a natural part of the creative process, and digital technology an integrated layer of construction.
