Clubovka 2025: Form - Lecture in Bernolák

The Parisian architectural studio Muoto was founded in 2003 by Gilles Delalex and Yves Moreau.
At that time, they were united by a shared passion for questioning the conventional notion of architecture as a definitive form.
They were attracted by the idea that architecture is an open structure with a range of further lives and unexpected possibilities.
Their signature is characterized by minimalist structures that are flexible and capable of adaptation over time. They miraculously manage to balance economic and aesthetic aspects.
One of their strong projects is Lieu de vie on the campus of the Paris-Saclay University - a multifunctional space that fosters interaction between students and the local community.
The architecture of the Muoto studio encompasses an endless number of definitions of what architecture should be, but most importantly, what architecture can become.
The scope of the Parisian practice includes projects in architecture, exhibition design, urban planning, education, and research. All of this has led to the architecture of minimalist structures that gracefully age, architecture that evolves and adapts over time, and that is economically and environmentally sustainable.
In 2023, Muoto established itself as the curator of the French pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale with the installation Ball Theater, which explores architecture as a laboratory for the future. Here, too, they worked with the philosophy of creating spaces that are not strictly defined, but allow for natural transformations, depending on what real life brings.
