Hradec Králové - The Hradec Králové Region will announce a public tender for the preparation of a project for a Home for People with Disabilities (DOZP) in the Hradec municipal district of Slatina. According to the developed project, a community-type home for the disabled will be created, said the spokesman of the regional office, Dan Lechmann, to ČTK today. The maximum value of the contract for the project documentation amounts to eight million crowns excluding VAT.
"There is a lack of DOZPs in the Hradec Králové district, making it the first facility of its kind in the Hradec Králové Region," Lechmann told ČTK.
The cost of building the home itself will become clearer after the project documentation has been prepared. "At this moment, the estimated total costs are 115 million crowns excluding VAT," Lechmann stated. The region is seeking a grant from the Integrated Regional Operational Program (IROP).
The announcement of the competition for the preparation of the project documentation was discussed by the regional council on Monday. "The Hradec Králové Region is preparing an important step in the development of community social services in Hradec," Lechmann said to ČTK.
The project documentation should include an architectural study, documentation for permits and construction execution, interior design and furnishings, engineering activities, a database of information about the building, and author supervision.
The community housing for the disabled in the Slatina district on the outskirts of Hradec Králové is expected to have a capacity of 18 beds divided into three households, with facilities for daily activities. The aim is to create a barrier-free environment with the character of family-style living, the region stated.
