Prague - A project with more than a thousand apartments is set to arise on the land of the former brickworks in Uhříněves, Prague, over the next five years. The smaller development company Vivus intends to build it. The project, which the company submitted to the authorities for an environmental impact assessment, includes the construction of 26 buildings with four to six floors. Today's E15 reports this. The newspaper does not state the amount of investment.

In addition to apartments, there will also be 3,000 square meters of commercial space, including a supermarket, restaurant, and café. The construction is planned to be divided into a total of six phases, each set to start one year apart.
The investor plans to begin construction on the first phase, which includes 144 apartments, as early as next year. The proposed structure of the apartments reflects the anticipated demand - 14 percent 1+kk, 44 percent 2+kk, 35 percent 3+kk, and six percent 4+kk, states Vivus in the documentation.
So far, this company has completed one residential project with 240 apartments in Prosek, Prague.
There is great interest among developers in the construction in Uhříněves. The Brno-based company Sisiora Real, led by Ladislav Chodák, wants to build 105 apartments on the site of a former mill. Some of them will be created by renovating the existing shopping center, for which the mill was previously converted. Additional apartments are to be in new construction. The company hopes to start building this year.
The development company Ekospol also plans another 170 apartments in Uhříněves.
