Zlín - In Zlín, 39 new apartments will be built in the project Housing at Central Park II. One- to four-room apartments will be created on the outskirts of the Jižní Svahy housing estate, which has become one of the most significant residential development areas in the regional city in recent years. The investor is the company Manag, and the real estate agent is the real estate office Zvonek, which also offers new apartments in Uherské Hradiště in the Štěpnice area, where 37 apartments will be built. This was reported to ČTK by a representative of the real estate agency.

Construction of apartments in both locations will begin in the fall, with completion planned for the turn of 2016 and 2017. "Construction will begin mainly due to the increased demand from clients for new apartments. For example, in Uherské Hradiště, the currently under-construction building A2 in the Štěpnice area, which has more than 30 apartments, was practically sold out in five months. The situation is influenced by low mortgage rates," stated the owner of the real estate agency Miroslav Zvonek.
New apartment buildings near Central Park in Zlín started to emerge more than ten years ago. The location is sought after also due to its proximity to the forest. According to the real estate agency, 11 apartment buildings have already been completed here, with another one expected in the fall. Construction in the New Štěpnice area began three years ago, and the third apartment building is currently being built there.
Last year, residential construction in the region increased by one-tenth. Last year, construction began on 941 apartments, which is 10.2% more than in 2013. 807 apartments were completed last year, which is 1.9% more than the year before.
