This time, a stroll through the Prague villa colony of Bubeneč will take you to the splendid residences of one of the wealthiest families of the First Republic. The Petschkos in Bubench owned more than a dozen houses, some built according to the designs of their "court" architect Max Spielmann. During the walk, we will reveal to you where the individual members of the Prague branch of the family lived, as well as a number of other interesting historical tidbits; for example, what kind of marriage strategies they employed across generations or how the settlement between them and the CSSR in the 1980s went regarding part of the property confiscated under the Beneš decrees. An integral part of the excursion is a descent on a secret path leading around the famous villa Bianca by architect Jan Kotěra.
