The list of the most endangered monuments is on the internet

Prague - On the website of the National Heritage Institute, there is a list of the most endangered immovable cultural monuments in the country. The list is open; preservationists continuously update it and also request the public to inform them about other monuments that may be at risk.
The list can be found at monumnet.npu.cz, where there is also primarily an overview of immovable protected cultural monuments. The list of the most endangered buildings includes only cultural monuments, that is, such objects that have been declared as monuments according to the law.
The inclusion of a cultural monument in the list of endangered ones is not discussed with the owners; they remain anonymous. The entry is created based on expert assessment solely from the perspective of the threat to its heritage value. The list does not criticize the owner of the cultural monument, who in many cases is not to blame for its current condition, preservationists indicate.
The list of the most endangered monuments currently contains 600 items, with 44 of them located in Prague, including several palaces in Hradčany, Malá Strana, and Old Town owned by the state. According to some estimates, thousands of buildings across the country are deteriorating, which are either already protected as monuments or deserve such protection.
