Pardubice - The residential complex project in the area of the former East Bohemian Printing House in Pardubice has received a zoning decision after years. Petra Dolinská, who oversees the project, told ČTK. The development company R. S. Credit can thus begin working on the documents for the building permit. The issuance of the decision was delayed by the opposition of nearby homeowners, who rejected the new construction.
The development company has a valid demolition permit. At the same time, it should begin preparing documentation for the building permit and apply for it, said Jiří Vopršal, head of the building department, to ČTK. "That was the essence of the problems. The project was in compliance with the zoning plan, and the traffic connection has been successfully resolved," he added.
The printing house has been abandoned since 2005. The developer bought the site in 2007, where three buildings with 101 apartments, ranging from studio-sized to five-room, should gradually be constructed. There will be a parking lot and storage units in the basement. Commercial spaces facing Smilova Street are planned, which could house a restaurant, café, wellness center, or offices.
