Prague - In Prague-Michle, the domestic construction giant Metrostav plans to build 305 apartments. The new project aims to be implemented through its subsidiaries. This was revealed today by ČTK from documents submitted for the environmental impact assessment of the construction.
The new apartments are expected to be located in seven buildings. The total usable floor area should amount to 24,720 square meters.
The construction will likely have two phases. Metrostav anticipates starting construction in 2010, with completion in 2013.
The project company is backed by Metrostav Invest, which belongs to Metrostav Development. This company is already directly controlled by Metrostav. Among the current projects of Metrostav Development is a smaller set of apartments and offices in Moravian Ostrava. In Prague's Evropská Street, it plans to build a new office center. It is also preparing several other residential projects in the metropolis.
Michle is a part of Prague that has attracted significant attention from builders in recent years. Just a short distance from the planned project is a completed residential building by Geosan. Nearby, there is also an office complex of the Passerinvest Group.
