On Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 6:30 PM, a lecture by Martin Rajniš titled „Architecture - A Path to Freedom“ will be held at Mendel University in Brno, building A, lecture hall A01, marking the beginning of a series of events prepared in collaboration with the Museum of Applied Arts of the Moravian Gallery in Brno.

The lecture will loosely introduce the subsequent workshop titled „Elephant's Belly“, organized in collaboration with Mendel University and the Faculty of Architecture of VUT in Brno, from April 4 to April 10, 2016, and will herald an exhibition of sketches and drawings by the Architecture Workshop of Martin Rajniš organized by the UPM MG, which will open on April 28, 2016, at Jurkovič's Villa.

Martin Rajniš states regarding the content of the lecture:
„In recent years, we have been intensively working on various projects that seek alternative paths in architecture. The lecture will be a presentation of a wide range of inspirations, ideas, experiments, and prepared realizations. The themes of the lecture will include freedom, plan, chaos, entropy, visions of future architecture, and the development of the idea of anarcho-structuralism. I will loosely continue the thoughts presented in the lecture Birth of Anarcho-structuralism in Prague last September at the opening of the Workshop of the House of Chaos.“

We warmly invite everyone!
