Kutná Hora - Kutná Hora will continue with the reconstruction of the pavement in the historical center of the city. Streets from the National Resistance Square around the Jesuit College to the park by St. Barbara's Cathedral will be repaired. The costs are approximately 45 million crowns, and the city received a grant of 30 million crowns from the European Union for this, said Deputy Mayor Václav Vančura to ČTK.

If the selection procedure for the contractor goes smoothly, according to him, construction could start in August or September. In addition to the pavement, the streets will also receive new public lighting and furnishings.
The first part of the extensive reconstruction of the pavement in the historical center of Kutná Hora began last year. The unfavorable winter should not affect its completion. "We are doing everything to ensure that the deadline of June 30 is met," added the Deputy Mayor. This phase of the repairs cost approximately 87 million crowns, of which 92.5 percent was covered by the European grant and the remainder was paid by the city from its own resources.
The completion of the pavement reconstruction in the historical center of Kutná Hora will also mean a significant intervention in traffic. The traffic flow in some streets will change, with new one-way streets and parking meters being introduced.
