Kladno - Kladno wants money from developers for the development of urban infrastructure, such as water supply or kindergartens. According to the city's leadership, the goal is for the city not to bear the costs associated with the investments of developers. The city council approved the basic conditions of the contracts that the city will enter into with private companies. CTK was informed about this today in a press release by the spokesperson of the Kladno city hall, Lucie Steinerová.
Kladno officials are preparing a document called Principles for Construction in the Territory of Kladno, the parameters approved by the councilors will be part of it. "Development projects in Kladno are certainly needed, we support new jobs and new housing with regard to the development potential of the area," stated Kladno mayor Dan Jiránek (ODS). According to him, it is logical for private projects to also financially contribute to the necessary development in the part of the city where they will be created.
"For example, an investor building an apartment building will contribute approximately 35,000 crowns to the city development fund according to the size of the apartments. This is a mechanism used in other cities, where investors will share the costs that their project will generate in the city," said Kladno councilor Lukáš Hanes (ODS).
