The architecture student fought his way to the SuperStar final

Prague - The first season of the television singing competition Czech-Slovak Superstar will culminate in a big finale on Sunday. The winner will be decided by viewers of private television networks Nova and Markíza through SMS voting for the two remaining contestants - Czech Martin Chodúr and Slovak Miroslav Šmajda. Czech betting offices and music experts are giving the greatest chance to twenty-year-old Chodúr.
    In the Incheba arena in Bratislava, both finalists will sing three songs. One of them will be a Christmas song. They could also choose a favorite track and one that was the best in their performances in previous rounds. The name of the winner will be announced at the end of Sunday’s show.
    Chodúr, whom critics accuse of a lack of movement on stage, tendencies towards introversion and aloofness, is still considered a better singer. He decided to bet on "Supreme" by Robbie Williams and "Heard It Through the Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye. The evergreen "White Christmas," popularized by Frank Sinatra, will remind of Christmas.
    Šmajda, who, according to experts, surpasses his competitor in appearance, better movement, and communication with the audience, chose the song "C'est La Vie," which he performed in a round dedicated to Karel Gott. This will be followed by "Watch Over You" by Alter Bridge and the Christmas hit "Last Christmas" by Wham.
    "I don't care about the odds; I just want to sing in a way that people will be satisfied and that I will be satisfied too. I don't need to win it," Šmajda declared on Thursday in his hometown of Košice. In the final round, this architecture student wants to rid himself of his previously established "rocker" appearance. "I’m no longer interested in being a rocker," said the blond, who has also surprised in the competition with extravagant hairstyles.
