Černá u Bohdanče in Pardubice has opened its own kindergarten

Černá u Bohdanče – Černá u Bohdanče in the Pardubice region has opened its own kindergarten. The modern barrier-free building will provide pre-school education for 50 children. Until now, parents had to take their children to kindergartens in other municipalities, where there are no longer any available spots. The town hall's work began in 2018 when the proceedings for changing the zoning plan started.

In Černá u Bohdanče, which is located near the regional city, the population has increased to 750 in recent years due to extensive construction and continues to grow. Currently, there are almost 70 children under the age of six living in the village. There was no kindergarten available, so parents had to rely on kindergartens in neighboring Rybitví, Bohdaneč, or Živanice, which have already exhausted their capacities.

The new single-story building with wooden-clad facades has a usable area of 670 square meters and features two spacious classrooms, each accommodating 25 children. The construction also takes into account the needs of children under three years old and children with special educational needs, all of which are fully barrier-free. The facility includes a large children's playroom, washrooms, modern staff facilities, and a fully equipped kitchen with a capacity of up to 60 meals per day.

The project emphasized energy efficiency and ecological operation. Heating and hot water are provided by two heat pumps connected to underfloor heating. Additionally, the system includes recuperation in living rooms, ensuring a constant supply of fresh air. The building is situated in the middle of a garden with play elements.

The costs reached almost 71 million crowns. The construction was supported by a subsidy of 42 million crowns from the ITI Hradec-Pardubice agglomeration program.
