The exhibition will present the best designs of architectural spaces associated with the phenomenon of digital architecture. A pair of educators from the Brno Faculty of Architecture, architect Jan Kratochvíl and sculptor Jan Šebánek, have been introducing students to the world of so-called new forms for several years – blobs, crystals, infinite ribbons, clusters, landscapes, etc. Students are first confronted with non-traditional geometry in a digital CAD modeler and subsequently realize their designs in physical form, often with the help of 3D printers, laser cutters, etc. The attractive artistic objects created by the students reflect the current possibilities and creative tools of digital design and construction. Discover architecture, whose peak era is just beginning.
