Parallel of the Life of Simon Wiesenthal

Simon Wiesenthal died on September 20, 2005, in his sleep in his Vienna apartment at the age of 96. Many people equate his name with "Nazi hunter," and then nothing more. Only now are they learning more about his life. Readers of archiweb.cz might be interested to know that he studied architecture in Prague from 1929 to 1932. We could find a similarity with our portal in a beautiful sentence by Arnošt Lustig, who commented on Simon Wiesenthal in yesterday's MfD: “Many people cheered him on in what he did, but few supported him in his efforts.”
