Ideal House in Cologne by Zaha Hadid

From January 15 to 21, the international furniture fair imm cologne takes place in Cologne, Germany. A joint project by British architect Zaha Hadid and Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa is also presented here. Under the name “Ideal House Cologne,” they showcase their vision of future living. The idea of inviting famous architects to present their visions of living has been a tradition since 2003. The red box is always placed on the busiest promenade. Hadid adds about her project: “At first, we worked heavily with the external form, but eventually we returned to a precise cubic form. Our work then focused mainly on the internal cavities and threads.” Link>
