The Le Corbusier House in Stuttgart after reconstruction

On Friday, November 25, 2005, the Wüstenrot-Stiftung foundation handed over the duplex designed by Le Corbusier in the famous settlement of Weissenhof for the establishment of a local museum. After an expensive reconstruction under the careful supervision of preservationists, the house (and especially the interior) once again shone with colors. The first part of the house will become a museum informing about the creation of the house and the entire Weissenhofsiedlung, while the second part will strive to closely resemble the original living conditions from 1927.
