As part of the exhibition "ArchiSkulptur" documenting the relationship between architecture and sculpture from the 18th century to the present, a sculpture titled “Jinhua Structure II – Vertical” by the Basel architects Herzog & de Meuron was unveiled on May 24, 2006, in Wolfsburg. The exhibition was conceived two years ago at the Swiss Beyeler gallery and will last in Wolfsburg until July 2, 2006. The twelve-ton, nine-meter wooden statue will stand in front of the Kunstmuseum in the park for a little longer. The entire concept of H&deM was born during the planning of the Jindong district in the Chinese city of Jinhua. You can read more - here.
