Developers from the Czech Republic are expanding their project portfolio beyond the borders of the Czech Republic. In Kazakhstan's largest city, Almaty, they plan to launch an exclusive residential project called CZECH TERRACES. This project will offer 10 luxurious apartments with generous layouts in a building featuring an unconventional architectural design. The lead architect of the project is Ing. arch. Oleg Haman from the CASUA studio.
The CZECH TERRACES project is set in a distinctive landscape at the foot of the Tian Shan mountain range in the former capital of Kazakhstan, Almaty. It is located in the prestigious Medeuski district on the Kok Tobe hill. It will provide residents with above-standard housing, which is currently lacking in the city. The architecturally atypical project, characterized by clean lines and an interesting design, features 10 residential units of high standard. "The market in Kazakhstan currently does not offer luxury housing, so we decided to fill this gap. We are bringing a boutique project that deviates from traditional Kazakh architecture. Besides the excellent location near the center and high quality of living, it will also offer residents stunning views of the city and the breathtaking scenery of the Kazakh mountains," says Zaida Ospanova, Executive Director of CODECO KAZAKHSTAN.
The apartment building will be located very close to the historical center and will contain luxurious residential units with generous layouts. Each apartment will have a terrace providing attractive views of the entire city, which has more than a million residents, as well as the Tian Shan mountains. CZECH TERRACES is a boutique project, offering apartment owners the desired privacy. Each residential unit will come with two parking spaces, while shared areas will include a dressing room, laundry, reception, bicycle storage, and stroller parking.
The project has an issued zoning decision, and the project documentation is currently being completed while preparations are underway for connections to utility networks. These will be implemented in a way that ensures new apartment residents will not experience the occasional local issues with water or electricity supply. "Currently, we are selecting a general contractor from the Czech Republic, who will partially collaborate on the project with local subcontractors. Czech companies generally have a good reputation in Kazakhstan. We want to build on the tradition of Czech quality in the field of development as well. If the first implementation proves successful, we plan to pursue further activities in the promising Kazakh market, not only in the residential housing segment," adds Zaida Ospanova. Construction is expected to start in the spring of this year, with completion anticipated in the summer of 2011.
