Exhibition of Residential Architecture in Finland

Prague - The Scandinavian House, which presents the culture and traditions of the Nordic countries in Prague, has prepared a series of events themed around Finland for this winter. One of the main highlights of the exhibition will be an architecture show of residential houses in Finland. The event is also held on the occasion of this year's 90th anniversary of Finnish independence.
    The Scandinavian House will therefore host a series of lectures and discussions on Finnish history and contemporary issues, such as the Finnish wars and why Finns achieve such good results in education monitoring tests. Finnish literature and music will also be included. There will also be screenings of Finnish cinema. Admission to most events is free.
    The Scandinavian House is a civic association established in 2005, which, as the only organization of its kind, offers and promotes Nordic culture in the Czech Republic. Since its inception, it has been supported by the Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, and Danish embassies.
