Berlin - The Documentation Center for the Crimes of Nazism, Topography of Terror, will open a permanent exhibition today in Berlin about the German metropolis during the so-called Third Reich. The outdoor exhibition titled "Berlin 1933-1945. Between Propaganda and Terror" will inform visitors about the consequences of Nazi rule for the capital and its inhabitants.
    Berlin was not only home to Nazi ministries but also the main repressive agencies of the regime. It was often the first scene of persecution against its enemies. Plans for world domination and its transformation into the majestic Germania, the capital of a new world empire, were also developed in the German metropolis. The exhibition also shows the role of Berlin during World War II and the consequences that the conflict had for the city.
