Wooden Construction Fair 2009 in Ostrava

Date: 29.5.2009 - 30.6.2009

The Wood Construction Salon 2009, the fourth edition of the largest Czech exhibition of wooden architecture and buildings using wood, will be presented at the Center for New Architecture in Ostrava at the end of May.

The opening will take place on Friday, May 29, 2009, at 6 PM. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Ing. arch. Radim Václavík, chairman of CNA.

The exhibition will also feature thematically focused publications for sale, including the Yearbook of Wood Constructions 2009, which recaps the exhibition and serves as a comprehensive guide to interesting wooden constructions realized last year in the Czech Republic.

At the Center for New Architecture, additional specialized literature can also be purchased, including the newly published yearbook CZECH ARCHITECTURE / ČESKÁ ARCHITEKTURA 2007 - 2008, providing a brief overview of the contemporary Czech architectural scene.
