Results of eVolo 09 Skyscraper Competition

1st place - Kyu Ho Chun, Kenta Fukunishi and JaeYoung Lee (USA)

The results of the 5th annual competition for the best skyscraper design have been published on the eVolo association's website. The goal of this year's competition was to design a skyscraper that takes into account the historical and social context, existing urban structure, human scale, and environmental considerations. The organizers received 416 projects from 64 countries.
The first prize goes to the USA (Kyu Ho Chun, Kenta Fukunishi and JaeYoung Lee), the second place was taken by Nicola Marchi and Adelaide Marchi from France, and the third prize was awarded to Eric Vergne from the USA. Additionally, 15 honorable mentions were given in the competition.
