Competition: Perm Museum XXI

The Russian Center for Contemporary Architecture is preparing an international competition for an art gallery in Russian Perm. Approximately 25 competition teams will be invited, selected based on submitted portfolios.

Those interested in participating must submit their portfolios by July 10, 2007. A total of 300,000 USD is allocated for prizes and awards (prizes of 100,000, 70,000, and 50,000 USD, and 8 awards of 10,000 USD each).
The competition is held under the auspices of the Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography in collaboration with the Russian and Moscow Chambers of Architects, with support from the Ford Foundation. The jury will include architects such as Arata Isozaki, Ben van Berkel, and Peter Zumthor.
