The architectural competition of the City Without Smog is open to the general public. Competitors submitted over ninety competition designs, which are now displayed on the competition page www.bezsmogu.cz. The public can choose a design that will receive the Public Award and participate in a drawing for one of the valuable prizes.

The City Without Smog competition was announced in March of this year by Česká Morava Cement, a.s. The subject of this year's second edition of the competition was to design a concrete object that could be placed in a public space, which will purify the air in its surroundings due to the use of a special cement with TX Active technology. Students and emerging professionals in architecture, construction, design, and fine arts had two months to submit their proposals. At the end of April, the expert jury convened to evaluate three main prizes in the competition, the CEO's award, and the partners' awards. The competition designs are now on display to the public, which can vote for the winner of the Public Award.

Online voting takes place from May 2 to May 29 on the competition page www.bezsmogu.cz Three randomly selected voters will receive tangible prizes: an iPad 4 and two Google Nexus 7 tablets. The results of the competition as well as the winners of the public voting will be announced on May 29 at the House of Art in Brno.
