This January marked 130 years since the birth of the Hungarian Jewish architect Zoltán Egri. Due to his studies at the German Technical University, he moved to Brno and, thanks to numerous commissions, he stayed here. Although his name is not very well-known today, during the interwar period he designed and realized a great number of residential interiors and commercial portals, particularly for Jewish clients. During the lecture by architectural historian Zuzana Ragulová, a selection of Egri's rich work will be presented, and we will also learn a little about his life.
