The Faculty of Architecture of the CTU in Prague invites you to the 9th edition of reVize Typologie. The conference will focus on how the development of artificial intelligence and data-driven technologies is reflected in the forms of cities, ways of living, working, and mobility – and how architects, urban planners, developers, and property managers should respond to these changes.
The discussion among international experts will focus on how AI is changing the organization of urban space, transportation infrastructure, building typologies, and the functioning of services. Attention will also be paid to issues of the speed of technological changes, their impacts on quality of life, and the responsibility of professionals in shaping the future environment of cities.
Speakers will include, for example, Federico Cugurullo (National University of Singapore / Trinity College Dublin), Mark Michaeli (Technical University of Munich), Nico Larco (University of Oregon), Kees Christiaanse (ETH Zurich / CTU), Michal Kohout (FA CTU), and other experts.
The conference reVize Typologie is organized by the Institute of Building Science at the Faculty of Architecture CTU since 2018 under the leadership of Michal Kohout. It focuses on current topics in design, management, operation, and research of the built environment and creates a platform for meetings among experts from architecture, urbanism, social sciences, and many other fields. The academic guarantor of this year's conference is Petr Návrat, coordinator of the new master's program in Planning and Development at FA CTU, who will moderate the entire event.
The conference will be held in English without interpretation.
