The last pre-holiday lecture of this year's OFFCITY ARCHITECTS cycle will present the third member of the advisory body of the City Council of Pardubice, this time a woman – landscape architect Štěpánka Endrle. Her task is to assist with important decisions in the context of architectural and urban development of our city. We'll learn about her relationship with Pardubice. And what are her personal architectural and landscape visions and ideas? As we read in the biography on the pages of the L&SCAPE studio, which she initiated, Štěpánka Enderle studied Agricultural Engineering – Horticulture at the Czech University of Life Sciences and Landscape and Garden Architecture at Mendel University in Brno. However, a key experience for her was her study stay at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, where she discovered how landscapes are approached in Austria. Through her practice, she seeks to show professionals and the public that landscape architecture increasingly influences our everyday lives. Since 2023, she has been a member of the Board of the Czech Chamber of Architects, working group on Urbanism, and also a member of the committee for the Czech Architecture Award. Her projects have received numerous awards in architectural competitions. She is a trained jury member for architectural competitions. Štěpánka Endrle will introduce her work at the beginning of the evening and will look forward to a joint discussion and your suggestions for the future of our city. Come to a friendly meeting and find out, “what is happening in our backyard”.
