With the growing size, the requirements for the management of the municipality change, including the quality of its administrative seat. The current office building is no longer sufficient. In the past, the municipality purchased the building of the former inn No. 1 at Staré návsi with the vision of building its new administrative base on the site. For Hovorčovice, this is an opportunity to acquire a new significant building in its center that will determine the direction of revitalization for the municipality's center in the future. That is why Hovorčovice decided to announce an architectural competition for its design.
The subject of the competition is the development of an architectural proposal for the new municipal office building in Hovorčovice and its surroundings. The new multifunctional building should become a significant representative point of the municipality and facilitate communication between residents and the municipal administration. The competition is announced as an architectural, single-phase, open, and project-based. Independent members of the jury will include architects Ida Chuchlíková, David Mateásko, Vojtěch Sosna, and Jan Šépka. In the dependent part of the jury, there will be the architect, author of the design of the local school Ondřej Tuček, and community representatives Milan Kotva, Zdeněk Šťastný, and Miroslav Bazika.
