The first exhibition of a significant personality in contemporary world architecture in Central Europe, which takes place in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University and under the auspices of the Embassy of Japan in the Czech Republic. Kengo Kuma is a globally recognized Japanese architect with branches in Tokyo and Paris. Among his most famous works are the Yusuhara Wooden Bridge Museum, Water/Glass (AIA Benedictus Award), Stage in Forest, Asakusa, Research Center in Prostho GC Museum, Sunny Hills Japan, the Ginzan 'Shirogane-yu' spa, the Sake No Hana restaurant, and the Toyoma Center for Performance Arts (Architectural Institute of Japan Annual Award). Current works include Kabukiza, Besancon Arts and Culture Center, and FRAC in Marseille.
In 2015, he was selected as the author of the Olympic Stadium for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Kuma is also the author of several publications, such as Anti-Object, and more recently, Natural Architecture and Small Architecture, which have garnered a wide readership around the world.
