Eva Le Peutrec is one of the Czech architects with a significant international reach. Throughout her career, she has lived on four continents and worked on five – from Europe to Asia, Africa, and North America. She is behind the designs of over 150 projects of various scales: from interiors, cultural and public buildings, to administrative complexes, skyscrapers, and generous urban plans, including a city design for a million inhabitants. Her work merges different cultural perspectives, approaches, and contexts. Experiences from international teams and collaborations with leading architectural firms around the world have shaped her perception of architecture as a dialogue between people, place, function, and the future. She places emphasis on innovation, sustainability, the courage to think beyond standard models – and on the ability to connect technical precision with the humanistic dimension of architecture. In addition to practice, she is also dedicated to education – she lectures, speaks at TEDx, publishes, and shares her experiences across professional and educational platforms. After twenty years, she returns to the place where her professional journey began – the Faculty of Art and Architecture at the Technical University of Liberec, her alma mater. The guest lecture is organized in cooperation with the institution Obec architektů.
