The first of a series of five new episodes will introduce us to the artwork of painter Josef Kučík in the Benedictine monastery of New Norcia near Perth. We will meet with potter Vladimír Tichý, who has a number of realizations in the public space in Sydney and its surroundings, and we will not forget the significant architect Ernst Korner, who left behind extensive works mainly in Ostrava before World War II. We will conclude the first episode at the National Museum in Canberra, whose atrium called the Garden of Australian Dreams is the work of Brno native, landscape architect Vladimír Sitta.
