An open lagoon as a safe harbor in the city. This is the new series of outdoor benches from the Czech manufacturer mmcité, named Lago. Its authors are David Karásek and Michael Tomalik. The play with circles and radiating lines defines the geometry of the seating elements, which, apart from their compositional generosity, also surprise with their practicality. You can sit freely from both the outside and the inside. Unconventionally placed arched backs also contribute to this. The set consists of three sizes of seating elements and is complemented by independent circular seats on a single leg, which can, in the raised variant, become a table. A good foundation for various compositions of circular structures that never appear dull. The steel, fully galvanized bases, coated with powder coating, support seats made of hard or thermally modified wood. Anchoring under the pavement or alternatively on the surface.

The introduction of the Lago series took place at this year's Designblok, where the authoring team played with the theme of children's fun - sailing boats. Designers placed water mirrors in the inner circles. Graceful sailboats could be assembled by visitors from the prepared components and then released on the ponds.
