The company cadconsulting, a leading Czech implementer of BIM technology, is organizing a technical conference for BIM from October 31 to November 1, 2019.

The event will bring together several dozen architects, engineers, technical specialists, and other interested parties in BIM technology. The packed day-and-a-half program will include both lectures and professional workshops.

"Unlike other BIM conferences that focus on more general topics related to BIM technology, at ours you can expect more technical and mainly practical information from industry experts in construction and engineering. Presenters will share their know-how, best practices, but also dead ends they encountered in real projects. Our goal is not only to share technical know-how but also practical experiences. Selected lecture topics will be hands-on, allowing visitors to try them out in practical workshops using Autodesk® Revit®," says Rudolf Vyhnálek, the managing director of the organizing company cadconsulting.

The aim of the conference is to expand the BIM community and create a platform for regular meetings. Therefore, the first evening will feature an informal networking event for all conference participants and clients of cadconsulting. This gathering will help architects and contractors find partners for the realization of further BIM projects. Speakers at pro BIM 2019 have years of practical experience, so the conference is primarily aimed at those who wish to gain valuable know-how about BIM.

"The main part will consist of several lectures where our experts, together with representatives from selected companies, will jointly present practical positive and negative experiences from real projects," continues R. Vyhnálek. The program will feature topics such as "Deployment of BIM and project management in architectural-construction offices", "Real and unreal requirements for BIM & HVAC", as well as "Experiences and pitfalls in bidding with BIM requirements".

In the workshop section, there will be very specific procedures, such as "How to excavate or create a construction pit," "Plasters: How to model and report correctly," or "Options for cooperation between structural engineers and builders."
Workshop topics include: Reporting in HVAC practically, How to effectively collaborate between professions, Revit Clinic: When Revit needs a doctor, etc.

Entry, including catering for the entire two-day program and accompanying events, costs 4,900 CZK excluding VAT. Online registration at www.pro-bim.cz.
