Sophisticated fencing system as a solution for space-constrained gardens

The idea of a fence with integrated functions originated in 2019, leading to the birth of the start-up AITAA. A small company operating in Staré Město near Uherské Hradiště developed a sophisticated fencing system that impresses with its smart space solutions and clean design. The company also emphasizes sustainability, ecology, and local development.

The smart fence is a completely unique, modular, and multifunctional system solution, particularly suitable for areas with limited space. AITAA focuses on both public spaces and gardens in satellite developments, which are increasingly facing space shortages. Users often have to give up some elements they would like to have in their gardens, but simply cannot fit them in. The AITAA smart fence can largely solve this problem. It combines traditional fencing with functional uses in the form of integrated foldable (TILAA series) or hanging elements (SIJA series, new for 2021). Even a small space can be transformed into an elegant seating area with a shading pergola or a corner with planters for herbs, and everything can be hidden again if necessary.

In public spaces, the module system can also be used to create so-called outdoor classrooms, not only in the outdoor areas of school buildings. The classroom can include foldable benches and tables, a blackboard, a planter, a container for sorted waste, or a rainwater tank.

Construction from quality steel and durable wood

All multifunctional fences are produced in Bílovice. The outer part of each module is made of Siberian larch or acacia, which are environmentally friendly choices. The load-bearing structure of the fence is made of high-quality steel. It typically has a height of 1.8 to two meters and a width of two to three meters, depending on the specific module. AITAA can also customize the fence according to the specific ideas of the customer, who can choose both the function of the fence and one of the offered color variants of the steel structure. AITAA modules can also serve as standalone solutions, for example as a partition element that creates a pleasant nook. Additionally, they are visually appealing from both sides, benefiting users of both neighboring properties. In the AITAA SIJA series, even functional elements (benches, tables, shelves, and more) can be hung from both sides of the fence.

The best of the best

In 2020, all the mentioned aspects were awarded at the prestigious international Red Dot Award competition, where AITAA received both the first prize Red Dot Winner 2020 in the garden furniture category and the highest award in the competition Red Dot: Best of the Best for innovation in design. By winning this "design Oscar," AITAA became the first company in the Czech Republic to boast this recognition.
