Natural Light to All Corners
In new projects and during renovations, higher demands are placed on the quality of the interior environment. Natural daylight is one of the most important factors.

Light Brought by Tubes
The Lightway tubular daylighting system has opened up tremendous possibilities for ensuring this requirement at minimal costs.

Simple, Yet Effective
Daylight enters through a highly transmissive dome located on the roof of the building and, using a mirror-polished surface inside the tubular daylighting device (with reflectivity of 98%), it is directed to the output in the illuminated space, where the system is closed at the ceiling level with a diffuser that evenly distributes the incoming light.

Technical Parameters of the Tubular Daylight Device
The Lightway system from Bitumen & Plastic is manufactured in four types: Lightway 260, Lightway 320, Lightway 520, and Lightway 760. The direction of the tubes can be changed using adjustable elbows, allowing natural daylight spectrum to be brought deep into the interior of the building to precisely designated places, compared to traditional skylights.

System Features
Sufficient natural daylight in interior spaces of buildings and in windowless areas has a positive effect on human psychology and thus has a long-term health effect. The system provides up to 80% energy savings where artificial lighting would need to be used continuously even during the day due to a lack of natural light. Installation is also easy on all types of roofs and buildings. The thermal load of the illuminated space is minimal in both summer and winter due to the closed column of air inside the daylighting device, which acts as an excellent insulator.

FOR Arch 2003
The Lightway daylighting device received an award in the Grand Prix competition at the International Building Fair FOR Arch 2003.

Gold Medal IBF Brno 2005
The Lightway tubular daylighting device won the "Gold Medal IBF" at the International Building Fair IBF Brno 2005 for its contribution to daylighting unlit spaces.

Hygienic Standard
It states that in interior spaces with permanent residence of persons, natural daylight should be utilized as much as possible. Lightway meets these strict standards.
