Nemetschek plans to acquire a controlling stake in Graphisoft

Munich, December 21, 2006 – Nemetschek AG has reached an agreement with the shareholders of the Hungarian company Graphisoft SE. This agreement allows Nemetschek to acquire a controlling stake in Graphisoft at a price of 9 EUR per share. Gerhard Weiß, CEO of Nemetschek AG, announced that the aim of this acquisition is to obtain a strategic financial stake in the Hungarian competitor Graphisoft. Nemetschek plans to take the opportunity to acquire a controlling interest in Graphisoft shortly after the successful completion of the usual due diligence and agreement on the financing of the acquisition.
