We believe it is important to think about the buildings that are being created, about the space that surrounds us. To have the opportunity to be inspired, to follow global trends, to be innovative, to do things differently. In our own way. Better.

Based on this philosophy, in collaboration with some of the best Czech architects, we strive to monitor news, interesting facts, and unconventional projects emerging on the architecture scene. Our goal is to provide professionals and the general public with a comprehensive overview – clearly and in detail. Because we are also interested in the creators' personal perspectives on their realizations or related issues, we often maintain personal contact with them and facilitate interviews for others.

In the third issue of the magazine INTRO, you can read an interview with Adam Caruso, who was appointed professor at ETH Zurich in 2011, where he teaches architecture and construction.

Overview of Basic Materials

You have surely noticed that individual editions of INTRA focus on a specific building material. Alongside traditional materials such as wood, brick, or stone, there are also less common ones like plastic or textile. Our goal is to keep revisiting them and to bring new and new buildings that are related to the given material and which have emerged during the time we have focused on others. However, since not everything that deserves your attention can fit into the paper magazine, we have created a section on our website for subscribers where we will gradually add a lot of bonus articles (including interviews) and materials, for example, more detailed drawings, photographs, and more.

In addition to interviews with well-known personalities, you will also find many great buildings in the magazine INTRO, supplemented with detailed drawings

Time for Change

We believe that quality architecture can change the world. Already, buildings are being created that are worthy of following (some of which we will also present in the October issue of INTRA focused on water and projects that can manage this life-giving fluid). The first step for these buildings to become inspirational is to get information about them into wider awareness. The intermediary role is played by the INTRO magazine, which you can find either in selected stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia (https://www.intro.cz/koupit) or you can order it from our e-shop (https://www.intro.cz/eshop). However, if you do not want to wait for the new issue and want to have it with you before it is available for purchase, you can also take advantage of the subscription option. Thanks to this, you not only do not have to worry about when individual issues are released, but you will find them in your mailbox a few days after they leave the printer. You can thus be among the first to contribute to the change in architecture.

More on the Subscription

The subscription has many other benefits. In addition to having access to the mentioned bonus articles and materials, you will not pay for shipping or handling. Furthermore, for four issues (that is, a yearly subscription), you will only pay 589 korunas instead of 756, which you would invest in the magazine if you bought each issue separately. Therefore, you save more than 20 percent on the subscription. As a subscriber, you will not miss out on special issues (such as INTRO – Plants or INTRO – Family Houses, which we are preparing for you in December of this year). If you also have someone in your circle who is interested in architecture, a subscription will be an ideal birthday or Christmas surprise for them.
