Is the "Green Program" a true disaster for heritage buildings, or can it help them?
The discussion will address questions that pose a danger to the preservation of monuments, damaging buildings in reservations and heritage zones. It should also discuss ways to help preserve the appearance of monuments and achieve the desired energy results.
The discussion will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Judit’s Tower (Mostecká 1) at 18:00
Proposed problem areas:
1/ Is external insulation the only way to achieve energy savings?
2/ Is it possible to repair and renovate older openings for new parameters?
3/ Is a comprehensive alteration of the climatic conditions in the building a way to save energy
4/ Can new materials with high thermal resistance be used in heritage buildings?
5/ What opportunities do internal thermal insulations offer for preserving the external appearance of the building, including the structure of original surfaces?
The discussion will be moderated by member of the Home Council Ing. Václav Jandáček
