On November 6-7, 2008, the second annual conference on Timber Constructions in Practice will take place at the Sport-V-Hotel in Hrotovice near Třebíč. The event is intended for professionals from design and implementation companies specializing in the construction of timber buildings.

The expert lectures will address current issues, examples of practical realizations, correct technological solutions for critical points on buildings, fire resistance and safety of building structures, experiences from occupancy proceedings during state fire supervision, statics, sound insulation properties of timber constructions, issues related to design work concerning construction execution and many other topics. Always with a focus on practice, experiences, correct and incorrect procedures, and guidelines for solutions during the construction of timber buildings.

Technicians from several partner companies will be available throughout the conference to present proper technological solutions, demonstrate material, product, and tool options as well as correct working procedures.

The conference is part of the lifelong learning project of ČKAIT. It is worth 2 credits.
The event is held under the auspices of the Association of Suppliers of Prefabricated Houses.
