Martin Rajniš - Constructions and Strategies of Rebellion

On Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at 7:00 PM, there will be a screening of the film Martin Rajniš – strategies of freedom in the auditorium of the Faculty of Architecture at the Brno University of Technology, Poříčí 5. The documentary will present all the pitfalls in the effort to realize interesting wooden structures in the Czech landscape. It shows the immense power that complex-ridden provincial officials have over the existence and non-existence of innovative architecture. The documentary is mainly about the personality of Martin Rajniš, who decided to fight against this maleficence.
On Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at 7:00 PM, there will be a lecture by architect Martin Rajniš in the FA VUT auditorium titled Buildings and strategies of rebellion, which should complete a set of approximately ten lectures.

Martin Rajniš is also the fourth holder of the Archiweb Award.
